Service Position Openings
Each Lone Star Intergroup meeting offers another opportunity to practice responsibility, keep our commitments, and support the recovery of others. In doing so, our own recovery grows as well. As the ACA Fellowship Text reminds us, "Service is another way we give back what has been freely given to us."

LSIG Intergroup Chairperson
This position will be opening up in the next couple of months. Posting to come.
LSIG Intergroup Secretary
The Secretary is more than someone who takes notes. By preserving the record of the Intergroup's decisions, this trusted servant helps provide stability from one meeting to the next. It is a quiet act of service that strengthens both the fellowship and our own recovery.
Serving as Secretary is also an opportunity for personal recovery. We learn that simply showing up is enough. We do not need to be perfect. As we keep our commitments and support the work of the Intergroup, we begin to trust ourselves in new ways. Through service, we give back to the fellowship that has supported our own healing.
Primary Responsibilities
Record meeting minutes.
Distribute minutes to Intergroup representatives and trusted servants.
Maintain records of meeting minutes and official documents.
Assist the Chairperson with agendas and correspondence as needed.

Suggested Qualifications
Working knowledge of the ACA Twelve Traditions and Twelve Concepts of Service.
Honesty, integrity, and respect for confidentiality.
Basic organizational and writing skills.
Reliable attendance and follow-through.
A desire to grow spiritually through service.
