About Us

The sole purpose of the Lone Star Adult Children of Alcoholics/Dysfunctional Families Intergroup (“Lone Star ACA Intergroup”) is to support the Fellowship of Adult Children of Alcoholics (ACA) within the Central Texas area (Austin, San Antonio, Georgetown, Waco, Corpus Christi and more) in carrying its message to the adult child who still suffers.

Individuals doing work in any capacity on behalf of Lone Star ACA will use the Twelve Concepts of Service, the Twelve Steps, and the Twelve Traditions as guidance in their service.

Our mission is to be a resource for people looking for ACA recovery, to support new and current ACA meetings, and to provide general information about service, education, and hope for our Lone Star region.

The Lone Star ACA Intergroup shall consist of Intergroup Representatives from meetings and groups registered with ACA WSO as part of the Lone Star ACA Intergroup.

Intergroup Representatives function as trusted servants of the ACA fellowship. In accordance with Tradition Two, the Intergroup may act for the service of ACA; it shall never perform any acts of government.
